Welcome back to our last blog of this term!
In English, we wrote a recount of our school trip and wrote a new ending for the enormous turnip story. We also did some independent writing to retell the srory too. We are getting better at writing every week!
In maths we have been learning how to half and quarter shapes and amounts. We know to halve something we have to share it into 2 equal pieces or groups and to quarter something we split into 4 equal pieces or groups.
In topic we have had a lovely picnic to celebrate all of our learning about where our food comes from. We made our own sandwiches and Easter nests and had lots of fun eating it all up!
We hope you all have a lovely Easter break and that the children come back refreshed, ready for the summer term.
