Hello and what a wonderful week we have had!!
On Thursday we visited the DW stadium. Our new history topic is 'Who are our local heroes' and we are learning about the history of Wigan Rugby League. We had a fantastic morning as we had a personal 'backstage tour' where we saw the players changing room, the trophy cabinet and we even walked through the players tunnel!!!
We watched old clips and we discussed the old rugby team, the old stadium and some historical players. Check out our photographs!
Thursday has also been World Book day! We have all come in lots of different costumes. In English we have been reading The Twits by Roald Dahl. Surprising we had a visit from Mr and Mrs Twit on Thursday- I wonder if you can spot them??
