We have been exceptionally busy this week!!
English
In our English lessons we have been learning about diary entries and have started to find out about what life is like in Antarctica. Next week we will imagine that we are Antarctic explorers and use what we have discovered to create our own diary entry.
Maths
In Maths this week we have been finding the perimeter of compound shapes.
Science
As part of our Earth and Space topic we have been learning about famous astronomers from the past and how they had different theories about the Solar System.
Aristotle and Ptolemy believed that the Earth was in the centre of the Solar System. They thought that the Sun and all the other planets orbited the Earth.
While Copernicus and Gallileo believed that the Sun was at the centre.
