Week beginning - 02.03.2020

Happy birthday 🥳 🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉

Potion Making - The children used a variety of textures to make a magical potion, such as, cereal, foam, fake snow, glitter, coloured water and gel. They used the spoons and pipettes to mix their potions. The children were also encouraged to make up spells for there potions.

From this week, the children will be taking part in weekly walks to Marsh Green library. This gives the children the opportunity to walk around the local environment and discover a range of books within the library.

Thursday children - World Book Day.
To celebrate world book day, we had a Bedtime stories day, we all dressed in our pyjamas and brought our favourite teddy to Pre-school. At Team time, we read different stories and talked about what happens in the story, rhyming words and used actions to tell the story.

In the afternoon, we held a parent/carer stay and play session. The children really enjoyed their grown ups visiting us. They had the opportunity to show them around our classroom, join in with play, give them a special snack- which the children had worked so hard to bake in the morning and sit a look at the wonderful stories around the classroom. Thank you so much to all the Parents/carers who came, it was a lovely afternoon 😊😊.

Wednesday children - The children asked for the paints out and requested to do cling film painting. They are really enjoying using the paint to paint in different ways, they show awareness of change when the colours mix together and also enjoy using the brushes to make large and small strokes, which helps to develop our arm and wrist muscles. Super work boys and girls. ⭐️ ⭐️
