Y3W

Hello, and welcome back to the Year 3 blog.  We will be posting our weekly highlights towards the end of each week.  Be sure to drop in each Friday for our latest news and photos.

This week we have been looking at poetry, especially sea shanties. We have enjoyed performing them and creating our own actions to the rhythm. We even wrote a whole class sea shanty titles 'Pirate's Quest'.

In Maths, we have been ordering numbers. This was a challenge in our estimation station, as well as having to put ourselves in height order.

Science has been exciting, learning about the human body, especially the skeleton. We did an investigation on our femurs. Did you know it is the longest bone in the body?
