Friday 13th Febuary

Hi it's Friday again ! and the last day of half term !!!!!  Yippeeeeeee !!frown

We have had another great week in 4W starting with our English lessons - We have been writing persuasive letters to Mr Sherriff !!! We have been trying to persuade him to not sell the A.L.P.S to a building firm! (Don't worry he isn't really  , Phew ! surprise) The children have been thinking of why the A.L.P.S are so important to us and the wildlife around the school.

In Maths we have been looking at Shapes and we have been finding how many Edges , Faces and Vertices each shape we have looked at has . The children enjoyed this although found it challenging! crying

It was our last session in the hall with Tracey on Thursday and we completed the dreaded 'bleep' test ! The vast majority of the children smashed their previous attempt at the beginning of the 6 week challenge and although very tired they were all very proud of themselves! So a big well done from all of us ! Check out the photographs below.

Mrs Wilson was very impressed with the children's sentence work in her French lesson . Have a look at a few examples below;

Leon.  Dans le sac, il y a un lion bleu, un Tigre noir et un furet rose.

 Yesmin.

It was Anglo Saxon day on Friday .We had a great day and completed loads of activities in the classroom and on the A.L.P.S ( included drinking Ginger Beer!  and toasting bread on the fire! ) Have a look at the fun we had below.
