Friday 26th September

Hello everyone!

Mrs France was bursting with pride after our 'good work' assembly! As part of this we presented our Victorian themed work. We made both gruel and potato and leek soup, just as the Victorians would have had. It was exciting to use home-grown vegetables, planted by last year's Year 6. The soup was very tasty. The gruel was YUK!!!!

Hope you enjoy the photographs on the link above!

We have actually impressed Mrs France throughout the week by working hard in all areas! In maths, we have worked  so hard and proved ourselves confident in addition and subtraction methods. We are developing our knowledge of formal language and will be using some impressive words and phrases in our writing! Emma, Leah, Brody and Lewis showed off their acting skills by role-playing a scene set in airport customs!

Our pupil of the week goes to Joseph P who is a smart, cheerful and enthusiastic learner - a pleaseure to teach! Well done!

Have a great weekend everyone!
