Hello and welcome to Year 4W 's blog on this fine snowy day !frown

We have had a great time this week in our science lessons! We have been looking at taking care of our teeth and a few children were picked to try some disclosing tablets !

2 children each chewed a tablet and the other children watched as their mouths went bright purple!sad The purple dye showed the plaque on their teeth and they had to brush all the purple dye away ; therefore removing all the plaque and keeping their teeth healthy!no

2 other children accepted the challenge to brush their teeth and remove any plaque before taking a tablet to see if their mouths were any less purple ! After a good brush , both children  chewed a tablet and were amazed as their teeth still stained purple ! Perhaps meaning they didn't brush quite as good as they thought ! Check out the photographs below.

Since the beginning of term we have been working with Tracey and John from the 'Let's get moving' team , Every Thursday afternoon we work with them in the hall and have lots of fun . This week we did some circuit exercise wearing our pedometers and measuring how many steps we had completed at the end of the session. Have a look at all the activities we have done.crying
