This week, we have been enjoying the story 'The Three Little Pigs'. The children have had fun pretending to huff and puff like the big bad wolf. We have also planned some activities related to this story.
The children had a great time exploring the tuff tray with a little pig theme. They listened to the story being read aloud while they played.
The children helped clean the pigs that were in the mud. We encouraged them to count and recite numbers during this activity.
The children enjoyed singing and dancing to music with our new microphones. It was a lot of fun!
On Thursday morning, we visited the park where the children enjoyed themselves while improving their physical skills.
This week, we introduced the children to Magic Movers. This is a fun physical activity that combines music and movement. It helps improve coordination, as well as fine and gross motor skills. The children follow the music using ribbons and then use crayons to make big movements.
The children enjoyed rainbow toast for their snack. We mixed food colouring with milk, and the children used it to paint on their bread. Some of the food colours did not arrive, so we will try this activity again next week when they come. This way, the children can choose from a wider range of colours.
