Hello and welcome back. This week in year 4 has been very busy. In reading, the children have been doing work around our class novel which we are thoroughly enjoying! They have focussed a lot this week on summarising texts and how we pick out the key parts to do this. 

In maths, the children have worked so hard learning their times tables for their test. I have been so impressed with how mature and sensible they have been and I couldn't be prouder.

In Geography, the children have been doing research about Delamere forest, ready for our school trip there at the start of next month. It is the largest forest in England has lots of activities there to keep you busy for the full day.

Remember on Wednesday it is our sports day. Please send children in in their school PE kit and dressed appropriately for the weather.
