Hello and welcome back to our year 4 blog of the week. 

This week in reading, we have been doing work around our class novel Stitch Head, which we have now finished! (how sad) but we have loved this book and so glad it was new to our year 4 curriculum this year. 

In writing, the children have been proof read and edit our hot task. We have then moved onto looking at balanced arguments as this is what we will finish the year working on. 

This week, we visited a part of Delamere forest! We completed shelter building activities and also learning all about the forest with the rangers. 

This week will also be my last before I go off on Maternity. I would just like to say how much I have loved being year 4F teacher and I will miss all the children greatly. They have been a pleasure to teach and we have had a great year together. I wish all the children a lovely summer and all the best for year 5, they will do wonderfully!
