Reminder: Nursery will close for the summer following the session on Thursday 16th July. We will be celebrating a fantastic year with our end-of-year parties. There is no need to bring anything special—simply send your child dressed and ready to party! 🎉

As the weather next week is still due to be really hot please ensure you send your child to nursery with sun cream already applied. This really helps, we will re apply sun cream in the afternoon. Also please send a sun hat and spare clothes as the children like to get wet in the hot weather.

We have had a wonderful week and have enjoyed the lovely weather. On Tuesday, we took the bus to Alexandra Park, where the children had a great time playing together. We then enjoyed a picnic on the grass and ate our packed lunches. The children behaved exceptionally well throughout the trip and did a fantastic job walking to and from the bus.

On Monday, we visited the school hall and took part in a series of running races. The children were encouraged to wait for the starting signal before beginning each race. We then practised moving in a variety of ways, including hopping, jumping, and crawling.

Following this, we played a colour recognition game. Toni called out a colour, and the children had to quickly run to the matching coloured hoop.

On Wednesday, we made our own ice pops. The children carefully chopped strawberries and demonstrated good control when pouring the juice into the moulds. The ice pops were then placed in the freezer, and in the afternoon the children enjoyed them as a refreshing treat to help keep cool.
