Reminder nursery will close for half term after the session today (Thursday 21st May) and will reopen on Monday 1st June.

We have a photographer in nursery on Wednesday 3rd June to take professional photos of all the children in on that day.

This week, we celebrated two very special birthdays. Happy 3rd birthday! and happy 30th birthday to Beth!

We have enjoyed watching our caterpillars grow and build their cocoons. We are very excited for them to transform into butterflies.

This week, we have been reading the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar.' We have planned some activities based on the story to make it more engaging. The children are really enjoying this tale.

The children enjoyed exploring the sensory tray filled with lemons, limes, and herbs. They had fun smelling, squeezing, poking, pinching, scooping, and filling.

As it was World Bee Day, we enjoyed some bee-themed activities. Julie brought in some real beeswax from her own bees for us to explore. It was very sticky.

The children are really good at sorting colours but this week we focused more on encouraging the children to name the colours as they sorted them.

Fun this week
