Welcome back!
Another busy week in Year 2 this week!
In English we have collected vocabulary to describe a clip from the Polar Express film. The children had to pretend to be the boy and write a diary entry describing what happens at the beginning of the film.
In Maths we have been adding two 2 digit numbers. The children have used equipment to help and worked really hard to grasp this new concept.
In Science we have continued our work on World habitats. the children sorted animals into different habitats and selected animals we would find at Westfield and on the ALPS.
In Art we have been looking at the work of Andy Goldsworthy. The children have used natural materials to create a picture in the style of the artist.
