Class Novel
We have started our new class novel this week called The Nowhere Emporium by Ross Mackenzie. Here is a synopsis of the story...
Daniel Holmes is an orphan living in Glasgow being bullied for being different. When being chased by the gang, a mysterious shop from nowhere appears and he is able to seek refuge. Showing himself to have unusual powers, Daniel is asked to join the Emporium where a magical labyrinth of rooms contains wonders beyond belief. He is transported around the world, having incredible adventures and experiences along the way. However, magic and mystery come at a price…is Daniel willing to make the sacrifice?
Our certificate winner this week is Reggie for some wonderful turns of phrase during his recent independent writing. Reggie is enjoying exploring a wider range of vocabulary.
Handwriting of the week - Hanin.
