Preschool Room 1 Kerry

We are very sad to say, that Pat will be leaving us on Wednesday 21st July.

Pat has been a dedicated member of staff for the Young Persons Centre for over 25 years. She is a valued member of the Pre-school team and we wish her well and a happy retirement. We will miss you Pat!

Our end of year party will be on Wednesday 21st July (last day) and ALL children are invited. Dress code = Party Clothes.

* If your child is usually in on a Wednesday for a full day or usually attends on a Wednesday morning, then their session time will remain the same.

* If your child usually attends on a Wednesday afternoon then please note a change of session time on this day. They will attend 9.15am - 11.20am instead of in the afternoon.

* If your child does not usually attend at all on a Wednesday, then they are invited in for the party. Please bring them to the gate at 9.15am and collect them at 11.20am. Hope you can join us!

For ALL children who are leaving us to go to Reception class in September.

Usually at this time of the school year, the photographer would be coming into

Pre-school to take Graduation photo's of the children. Unfortunately, this year that can't happen. We are as disappointed as you! So as an alternative, we have purchased a Cap and Gown to take our own photo's.

If you would like to purchase your child's photo, the cost for this will be £5.00.

This will include, an 8x10 photo print and a digital copy emailed to you for you

to print off as many times as you wish.

Please send cash in an envelope labelled with your child's name.

The children who are leaving us to go to Westfield Reception class in September - Please call 01942776007 to make an appointment to meet your new class teacher.

When we read ‘m’, we say ‘mmmmmmmmm’.
When we write ‘m’ we say, ‘Maisie mountain mountain’.

When we read ‘a’, we say ‘aaaaaaaaaaaa’.

When we write ‘a’ we say, ‘Round the apple, down the leaf.’

When we read ‘s’, we say ‘sssssssssss’.

When we write ‘s’, we say, ‘Slither down the snake.’
