Our surprise finally arrived, we have got our very own little caterpillars �� that we can watch grow big and turn into butterflies �� 

The children have really enjoyed looking at the caterpillars �� 

We had snack like the hungry caterpillar, the children had 1 apple ��, 2 pears ��,3 plums, 4 strawberries �� and 5 oranges �� . 
We encouraged the children to count out the fruit pieces onto their plate.

We made strawberry ice lollies, the children chopped the fruit, put it into the mould and poured juice in. We then put them in the freezer and enjoyed eating them for snack strawberries �� 

We made strawberry �� and banana �� smoothies. The children helped to chop up the fruit and put it into the blender, then we enjoyed tasting it at snack time

On Tuesday we went on the bus to Wigan park, the children had lots of fun playing on the park then we ate our dinner in the park and got the bus back to nursery
