On Monday we sang happy birthday to our friend who turned 3 at the weekend and shared some yummy cake.

Next week we are visiting the ALPS (woodland next to school). We are taking the children on a bear hunt to see if we can find the bears cave bear 🐻
Please send your child to nursery on Tuesday or Wednesday with wellies if you have any (we have some spares if you don’t) and a waterproof coat/ wetsuit.
This week again we have been enjoying reading ‘we’re going on a bear hunt’ and enjoyed activities based around the story.
The children enjoyed using their feet to explore the sensory trays, they walked through long wavy grass, a cold river, thick oozy mud, a forest, and snow to find the bear in the cave. This experience really brought the story to life for the children.
The children glued shapes onto their paper to make their bear pictures 🐻
As it was Chinese new year on Wednesday we enjoyed trying some yummy Chinese food, the children enjoyed noodles, prawn crackers and spring rolls 🐍
and we played the hula hoop game again trying to put the hoops in our bowls using the chop sticks
