13th March

Another busy week in Y1!

In provision we have been writing what we can see in space, making star constellations, practicing reading sentences and representing numbers using tens and ones.

In English this week we have been writing an independent description of an alien. We have been working hard to include capital letters, finger spaces and full stops in our writing.

In maths we have been learning about numbers to 50 on a number line. Please keep practicing recognising numbers to 50 at home!

We have been learning about materials that are transparent and opaque. Transparent means you can see through it and opaque means you cannot see through it.

Don’t forget to keep practicing your spellings at home to earn your next badges!
