Welcome to our blog. We've had a really busy week.
Maths
This week we have continued counting in 10's and counted forwards and backwards in 1's within 50. We have also been ordering number within 0 to 50. First we looked at ordering consecutive numbers, then we ordered non-consecutive numbers.
English
This week we have started our new text, it is 'How to catch a star' by Oliver Jeffers.
We have been looking at time words eg. first, next, then, after that, finally.
We have also been looking at 'bossy' verbs in the text and thinking of our own.
Design Technology
This week has been our Design Technology week. We have investigated and made our own 'Moving Pictures'. We made our own slider and lever pictures. We then designed our own and made it with our own choice of slider or lever mechanism. We've really enjoyed our work this week.
On Friday, it was Red Nose Day. We did a run around the playground for it. We had lots of fun.
