Welcome to the first blog of Summer 2 half term. We've been straight back into working hard this week.

English

We have started a new text called 'Little Red Riding Hood'. We are focusing on a character description of her using nouns and adjectives. We have also been learning about when we use exclamation marks and question marks.

Maths

We have been finding out about weight. We have been comparing the weights of objects and measuring how heavy some objects are using non-standard measures.

Science

We have started a new topic called 'Animals including humans'. This week we have found out the characteristics of mammals and have named some common animals that are mammals.
