What a busy week we have had. We had a lovely Friday afternoon, Mrs Shirley from Wigan Music Service came to practice our songs for the Summer Song Share. She was really impressed with our singing.

English

We have continued our work using the story, 'Little Red Riding Hood'. We have been working on a character description of the wolf. We have also looked at exclamation marks and question marks and when to use them. 

Maths

We have completed our work on measures, looking at length and capacity. We have started work on fractions looking at half of objects and pictures.

Science

We have continued our work about 'animals including humans' and found out about the features of 'fish' and how they live.

Topic 

We have continued finding out about 'everyday heroes'. We have looked at people who work for the emergency services, comparing what they look like today to how they looked in the past.
