Welcome back to the class blog.

We are incredibly proud of all the Year 1 children this week for working so hard with their reading assessments! They have blown our socks off! 

The children have been showing us everything they have learnt in maths over the last few weeks too.

In History, we have been learning about how emergency vehicles and people who help us have changed over time. We looked at photographs of vehicles and uniforms from the past and present.

In Science this week we have been learning about Fish. Fish can only live in water and have gills to help them to breathe. 

Next week, Year 1 have Sports Day on Tuesday 16^th June. Please make sure children come to school in their full school PE kit, a hat and sun cream.
