The Mayan civilisation made masks for a range of purposes from battle, to death and celebrations. Y6 have designed their own mask to suit one of these reasons. They have used a special plaster impregnated gauze called modroc to create 3-d versions of their designs. Take a look. Can't wait to see them painted.
