This week we have completed our geography topic about energy. Our last task was to walk around school to establish where solar panels would be best placed to provide school with its energy needs. Can you guess where most children selected?
The roof, of course! But it gets better. Most of our roof slopes but they wanted the slope that is facing Montrose Avenue. The reason - that part of the roof is south-facing therefore receives sunlight for the most part of the day. Clever, eh?
