At Westfield, we are keen to promote our children's future aspirations but it can often be difficult to think beyond the common dream of wanting to be a professional footballer. That is a status such privileged few attain. However, there are lots of opportunities within the football and sports industry for anyone who is a sports lover to aspire to. This week, we were visited from several employees of Wigan Athletic who shared the stories that led to the positions they hold. Truly fascinating and the children listened very well; even plying the visitors with sensible, searching questions. We hope to hold similar aspiration talks with other professionals in the near future.
