Just a reminder about Red Nose Day Friday 20th March. We will be wearing something red and the children are invited to wear red as well. We would appreciate it if you are able to, a donation of a food item that we could give to the Brick.

🌻 This week 🌻
We have been busy getting ready for Mother's Day this week. The children have worked very hard to make sure that they make something special to take home as their gift.
On Tuesday we went to Robin park to buy some special flowers. The children were all very good. They enjoyed holding the flowers and everyone had a smell of them. They were able to take turns in scanning the flowers at the till and even paying for them. They were such great helpers.
We have had some boys and girls who have begun to potty train this week and they are doing a fantastic job. We are all very proud of them.
Don't forget that we also have our nappy basket for when your child is toilet trained they will be able to put a nappy in the basket and get a special prize out of our box. If you would like any support on toilet training please speak to one of us as we will be very happy to help you.

🎨 This weeks activities 🎨
🌻 Tuesday 🌻
The children loved playing with flowers this afternoon in our flower soup. touching and smelling the flowers and then mixing them up with the various tools. Once we had finished playing with them we decided to save the flowers to use in another activity. We talked about freezing the flowers and how we needed to put them in to some water and in to the freezer to turn them in to ice. The children tried their very best to pour the water into the cup before choosing which flowers they wanted to use. They then walked very carefully and placed them into the freezer themselves. Look out for the flowers in our play next week.
