🐣 Half Term 🐣
The Sunflower Room will close for the Easter half term on Thursday 2nd April and we will open again on Tuesday 21st April.
If you are looking for something to do during the Easter half term the Family Hubs have activities that you may be interested in. Please have a look.
🌻 Drinks at lunch time 🌻
- Could we remind everyone to make sure that your child has a drink in their lunch bag everyday.
- We ask that you send your child in with a drinks bottle and not a babies bottle.
- Giving your child a drink from a babies bottle after 1 year old can cause damage to their teeth and it also effects their speech. Your child's dental health and their speech is very important to us, so please join us in binning the baby bottle. We will offer your child a cup to drink from if a babies bottle is sent in. Thank you.
🌻 This week 🌻
We have made the most of the sunshine this week. Some children went to the alps on Tuesday morning. They enjoyed having their snack before going on a bug hunt and a game of hide and seek. We left our banana skins and some apples to feed the butterflies and other bugs that we had found. The children are really enjoying being out at the alps, bug hunting, going on a bear hunt just like in our favourite story and playing hide and seek.
On Wednesday we went to the Wacky Warehouse the children are becoming very confident in fitting themselves in to the smaller spaces and climbing up to access the higher levels.
On Thursday the children made some delicious pizza's with Jayne. They all used good control of their spoons to spread the tomato base and they made their own choices of what to put on their pizza. Once they were cooked they enjoyed eating them for their morning snack.
