Our activities

Tuesday

We apologise because our iPad ran out of battery, and we were busy having fun, so we have no photographs from today. The children continued with their Father's Day creations, and they had fun in the water play and listening to some stories.

Wednesday

Today, the children had a fantastic time experimenting with food colouring and bread! They used pipettes to drop the food colouring onto the bread and watched in delight as the colours transformed, creating some beautiful rainbow slices. We also found special objects that were hidden in a bottle of rice. They shook and rolled the bottles to discover the hidden treasures and then labelled them. This activity was a big hit! We played rolling the ball to our friends. The children were asked to shout their friends' names and roll the ball to them. They all worked very hard as this is a tricky little activity.

Thursday

Today, we enjoyed the lovely sunshine by playing football in the garden! We also created some fantastic bunting to hang up and show our support for the game.

Friday

Today, we had an exciting adventure saving the dinosaurs frozen in the ice! The children used spray bottles to melt the ice and free the dinosaurs. It required a lot of focus and careful hand movements to spray the water just right. The children also had a great time watering the dinosaurs' plants, making sure they were happy and healthy. In the messy tray, we had lots of fun building towers using shaving foam and round foam pieces. What a fantastic day of creativity and teamwork!
