The sun is finally shining. Can we ask,

• When it is nice weather, you put sun cream on your child before they come to nursery. 
• Could you also please make sure there is an ice pack in their lunch bags, as their dinners are stored in the red box as we cannot put them in a fridge.
• Please supply a drink for your child to have at dinner time.

 

This week

We’ve had a lovely week! The children have been working hard in their communication groups. Some have been exploring prepositions like IN, ON, and UNDER. It would be wonderful if you could support their learning by using these words in your conversations at home. Simple questions like, “Where is your teddy? Is it under the bed?” or “Could you put your cup on the table?” can really help reinforce their learning. We’ve also been discussing sizes, focusing on big and small.

 

The children had a great time enjoying cereal for their snack. They’ve been making their own choices about which cereal to have, helping to pour their milk or water, and they’ve been practising their spoon control.
