Welcome back from the Easter break! We hope you had a fantastic time off. We're also excited to introduce our new blog!
As the weather warms up, please make sure to pack some ice blocks in the lunch bags! It's also important for children to have a drink with their dinner and plenty of spare clothes. With the nice weather, we will be enjoying lots of fun water play outside!
We've had a wonderful first week back. It was great to see all the children reunited and enjoying each other's company. We're also thrilled to welcome some new friends who have joined us this week; they have all done an amazing job settling in!
This week has been filled with fun in the sand! We have been busy filling and pouring, getting our hands messy and creative. In our water play area, we used brushes and sponges to wash shells, which helped us improve our hand-eye coordination. With such lovely weather, we have also had a great time playing in the garden. It has been a wonderful week of exploration and play!
We are reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar this term, so we're going to be having lots of fun activities based on the story. This week we have made caterpillars from play dough as well as created our own caterpillars for our creative play.
Star of the day
Big congratulations to our amazing stars of the day this week!
Toileting superstar
A big well done to our toileting superstar who, over the half-term break, has given up the nappy. She was able to choose a prize out of the nappy prize box.
