WB 20th April

Welcome to the first blog post of the Summer term.

This is our last term together, and we will be getting school ready. This will be through a variety of activities, including practising spelling and writing our names.

Our maths focus this week has been positional language in, on, and under.

Our book this week was 'We All Go Travelling By' by Sheena Roberts so we have had many activities linking to vehicles and transport that match the different areas of development.

This week we met Imelda from CHIME. CHIME is an organisation that teaches children through music. These sessions are designed to improve oracy (speaking), language and listening, along with many other areas. Music is an amazing tool for early brain development, and we are very happy to have Imelda visit us this half-term.

We have looked back at the past few weeks of learning and the children have added their own additions to our sticky learning book, which is filled with memories from throughout the year.

Enjoy a glimpse into our week.

Thank you for taking the time to read through our new class blog, and thank you for your patience as we work on our new website.

We look forwarding to seeing you all again soon.

The Reg 2 team.
