Hello and welcome to the third class blog of the Summer 1 term. We have had a shorter week than normal, but it has been filled with so much fun.
At the beginning of this week, we read our book of the week, 'All of the Factors of Why I Love Tractors' by Davina Bell.
For maths this week, we have been thinking about weight and balance. We have also been able to make our own scales during provision.
On Wednesday, Reg 2 enjoyed dancing, balancing and coordinating our limbs in PE.
On Thursday we visited the animals brought to The Alps by Little Barn Farm. This was a highlight for all the children they will remember for a long time. The children got to meet, stroke and hold some of the animals, and learn about them from the farmers.
On Friday 8th May, we learnt about the environmentalist David Attenborough to celebrate his 100th birthday. We made fossils, saved turtles, matched animals to their patterns, dressed as animals, and practised writing our names in birthday cards that we created.
We have had an amazing animal-themed week. Please explore the pictures below to see more from this week.
Thank you so much for reading the Reg 2 blog and looking through our collection of photos.
We look forward to seeing you all for the rest of this half-term.
– The Reg 2 Team :)
