Hello and welcome back to our class blog. This week we have been reading and enjoying Jaspers Beanstalk. We have talked a lot about plants and what they need to grow. We have also explored lots of ways of drawing and painting our plants. 

We each took it in turns to plant our own seed. We could choose which flower seed we would like. We learnt that the seed needed soil, water, sun light and lots and lots of TIME! We are looking forward to seeing them grow. 

We have also worked together to plant some bigger planters for our outside garden. We will be looking after these and we think they will make our garden look great!

Our number of the week this week was number 5! We used our magic carpet to explore the number 5 and all of the different representations we could find.

As always, we enjoyed our yoga session in PE. The children are great at listening, watching and then practising the moves.
