Hello and welcome back to our class blog. This week we have enjoyed recapping all of the stories we already know and consolidating our knowledge on the texts. To start the week we completed a story pathway activity. First we needed to draw a story map which we then took it in turns to walk along the pathway and retell the story.

One of our maths actitivies this week was to create and continue repeating patterns. The children enjoyed spotting mistakes and rectifying them. 

We enjoyed our first parent stay and play of the year. Our focus was Reading and it was so lovely to welcome so many parents in to the classroom.

In PE we continued with ball skills. We concentrated when throwing and catching. We also worked in teams to play a ball rolling game.

After half term our new topic is 'Growth' and our first text is Oliver Vegetables. Have a listen to the story on youtube at home.
