Week ending 16th May
Hello and welcome back to our class blog. What a lovely, sunny week we have had in Reception.
Our text of the week has been another Julia Donaldson book 'The Smartest Giant In Town'. In the story, George the Giant helps the animals by giving them his brand new clothes. We have completed lots of brilliant work based on this text.
The grown ups in our class have been blown away this week by our writing. The children have been working so hard and it is paying off when it comes to our work. Have a look at some amazing examples.
As always, we love to be creative. Have a look at some of our artwork this week.
In the story, George got a new tie. We enjoyed designing our own ties and some of us wore them!
On Wednesday, we welcomed back the lovely Mrs Shirley for music.
In Maths we have been thinking about number bonds to 10.
